Report on IX Master Class in Sofia
Translating vitiligo research into clinical practice was a central theme of the IX Master Class on Vitiligo and Pigmentary Disorders in Sofia. Over 170 international participants registered at this key regional meeting for the latest achievements in the field of pigmentary disorders of the skin, such as: vitiligo, melasma, postinflammatory hyper- and hypopigmentations, poikoloderma, drug-induced hyperpigmentations, hereditary hypomelanosis, pigmented mosaicism and more.
Opening speech by the President, Prof. Mira Kadurina, PhD. DSc., the Head of Department of Dermatology and Allergology of the Military Medical Academy.
Prof. Davinder Parsad presented vitiligo treatment paradigm,
and held a live demonstrated a melanocyte transplantation procedure the next day.
