Book Title

“Vitiligo Handbook: Treatment Protocols and Tools For Clinicians”

Vitiligo management options have undergone a sea change over the past decade. Several new treatment protocols, for example systemic immunomodulators or derma rollers, have been introduced recently, with various success rates, but remain unknown to the most of practitioners.

In addition, approaches to vitiligo treatment vary from region to region, depending on the availability of drugs, medical equipment, local techniques and even on the climate zone. This publication will encompass a variety of vitiligo treatment guidelines, both proven and experimental, from a clinical perspective.

Objective of the Book

The purpose of this book is to provide a comprehensive guide to vitiligo management in a private practice or clinic, with an emphasis on local applicability. It will underline the techniques and tools needed to treat typical and rare cases of vitiligo, in order to improve treatment outcomes and patient quality of life, to facilitate introduction of novel treatment techniques, and to share best practices in vitiligo management.

Target Audience

The target audience includes physicians, dermatologists and students (Masters/PhD) with interest in vitiligo and pigmentary disorders.
