World Vitiligo Day 2015 in China
Stats for the World Vitiligo Day 2015 activities in China:
- Collected over 10,000 signed petitions in electronic or print format
- Spread 2,000 vitiligo pamphlets to the masses
- Made 1,200 World Vitiligo Day logos and sent them to 12 hospitals
- About 30 hospitals took part in the activities
- Various medias took part in the activities: 3 broadcast and TV shows, 5 major newspapers, 12 WeChat and web groups.
- Held patients education and consultation classes.
As a result of these massive activities by doctors and volunteers, a total number of the World Vitiligo Day petitions is now exceeding our goal of 500,000! We will count the leaflets upon arrival at the office and adjust 25June.org counter accordingly.
Thanks to Prof. Yan WU, WVD 2015 Secretary, for collecting photos and stories of the World Vitiligo Day in China. Here we publish only a small part of the massive collection, to give you a glimpse of the largest WVD campaign event, ever.
