Methotrexate with fractional laser treatment for vitiligo
Official title: Efficacy of Topical Methotrexate with Fractional CO2 Laser Versus Topical Methotrexate Alone in Treatment of Non Segmental Vitiligo
Assiut University plans to enroll about 50 participants. The procedure makes controlled tiny injuries in the skin, sometimes to improve delivery of a medicine or add targeted UVB light. This may stimulate healing and help pigment cells move into or become active in vitiligo patches. Possible effects include pain, redness, swelling, burns, pigment changes, scarring, and infection. The study record does not list an age range. Recruitment has not started, and no locations are listed yet.
