New
The Vitiligo Patient Journey Map has been officially released into the public domain.
Since its creation in 2021, the map has gained significant popularity worldwide, offering a bird's-eye view of the vitiligo patient journey—from initial symptoms and treatment options to holistic and non-treatment pathways. However, the previous "All rights reserved" copyright notice, standard for visual and creative works, limited its use in commercial and hospital settings, where administrators were understandably cautious about its copyrighted status.
Drawing inspiration from open-source, collaborative projects common in the IT industry, we have decided to make the Vitiligo Patient Journey Map freely available to everyone. Just as open-source code allows developers to improve and adapt software for personal or commercial use, we envision that this release will enable enthusiasts, healthcare providers, and educators to create their own versions of the map, enhancing vitiligo education and patient care around the world.
