Targeted UVB laser treatment for vitiligo

Official title: Study of the Effectiveness of the PALLAS Laser in the Treatment of Skin Diseases That Respond Well to UV Light

Description:

Szeged University plans to enroll about 50 participants. The procedure makes controlled tiny injuries in the skin, sometimes to improve delivery of a medicine or add targeted UVB light. This may stimulate healing and help pigment cells move into or become active in vitiligo patches. Possible effects include pain, redness, swelling, burns, pigment changes, scarring, and infection. People ages 18 to 65 may qualify. The study is recruiting at one listed site in Hungary.
